David “Stan” Stankaitis, CCIM

Stan came to San Diego from Montreal, Canada (where he was born and raised) in 2004 to work in commercial lending. In 2006 he founded his own lending company until 2012 when he and long-time friend and business partner decided to “put the band back together” and form Trillium Capital Partners. He is now helping to oversee the day-to-day operations as well as strategically planning for the company’s future.

Prior to his arrival in San Diego, Stan was a Derivatives Trader and Options Market Maker for one of Canada’s largest banks. Later he traded in the trading pits, for his own account and managed money for select clients. When the Montreal Exchange moved to an electronic trading platform, Stan became the Senior Options Supervisor overseeing all Canadian Equity Options trading throughout Canada and internationally.

Since 2004, Stan has funded hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial loans through his extensive network of private and institutional lenders. Although Stan has funded loans on every type of commercial property type, his main focus has been single tenant NNN properties all across the country. Stan’s knowledge of the industry, backed by his capital market experience, puts him on a level unmatched in the commercial lending arena.

Stan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He spends his spare time playing Hockey and practicing the martial art of Krav Maga and holds a 3rd Degree Black-Belt in Kendo.

David Rousseau, CCIM

David has been in the commercial real estate lending market since 2003. Before becoming a commercial real estate lender, David worked as an open outcry futures trader on the floor of the Montreal Exchange trading 10 year government bonds and bankers acceptances. After the open outcry trading pits went to an electronic platform, David helped set up a derivatives department with a major financial institution in Toronto, Canada. This capital market background gives David an edge when it comes to helping clients with their commercial real estate financing needs.

Working with a variety of lenders, David has brokered hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial real estate loans for most property types using a variety of loan products customized to the purchaser’s individual investment strategy, including conventional, CMBS, construction, bridge, mezzanine, private equity and SBA financing.

David has also been involved in the syndication of commercial real estate and raising capital through private offering memorandums. David enjoys the uniqueness of each transaction and the challenges that sometimes arise so that he can use his outside the box thinking to get to the end result…a funded loan and a happy client.

David enjoys golf, ice hockey, softball and experiencing the geographic and cultural diversities of the United States while traveling in his RV with his family.
